About a month ago, a couple of CNBC articles came out about the federal income tax liability of all Americans. The first one found that 47% of all Americans had zero federal income tax liability. Some of those people even get more money back in refunds then they paid in throughout the year! It becomes easy and convenient to call for higher taxes and more spending when you are the primary beneficiary of the spending and you don’t have to pay for it.
