Books to Read: Applied Economics by Thomas Sowell
After you've completed Basic Economics, Applied Economics takes the concepts laid out in the previous book and applies them to many of our economic situations. I especially recommend the third chapter which covers medical care and explains how the government should not be involved in the healthcare system.
Another book you should send to Congress!
