In order for a free society to be free, its participants must have as many choices available to them as possible. The choice of whether or not to participate is indeed a necessary choice. Ask yourself about the current health care legislation in relation to "voluntary cooperation vs. government control." Can you purchase health insurance out of state? Should you be able to? Can you choose not to participate in the system? Should you have that choice?
